Retirement of John Merry
20 December 2007
AutoLogic announces that John Merry will be retiring as a Director of the Company on 31 December 2007 after 27 years with the Group.
In October 2007 it was announced that a new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer had been appointed.
This year has been one of great change for AutoLogic and one which has seen John Merry lead the Group through many difficulties and play a key role in planning and supporting the future strategy of the Group.
John Merry commented, “Following recent difficulties, I believe that AutoLogic has now returned to a secure and stable condition and, with full confidence in the new management team, I believe that it is the right time for me to step down.”
Reg Heath, Non-Executive Chairman of AutoLogic, commented, “John has played a key role within AutoLogic for many years, not least leading the management buyout in 1996 and the subsequent flotation of AutoLogic in 1997. I would like to thank him for his dedication and support during his long service with the Group and wish him well for the future”.
