ANSA ENHANCE CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH NEW OPERATIONS STRATEGY

In a strategic reorganisation of its operational procedures, automotive distribution specialist Ansa Logistics has appointed two new senior operations managers.
Ansa Logistics, which is part of the AutoLogic Group, has appointed Nigel Glenn as General Manager of Operations and Ken Harris as National Distribution & Traffic Manager, as part of a major business restructuring programme being implemented by Ansa Logistics Managing Director Dudley Pound.
Nigel and Ken join Ansa from Walon UK, where both gained over 35 years of combined operational management experience. In their new roles Nigel and Ken are focussing on improving the levels of customer service provided to Ansa Logistics’ customers, which includes the UK’s largest vehicle distribution contract with Ford, which Ansa Logistics won in 1999.
The new managers will also be focusing on increasing operational efficiency throughout Ansa Logistics’ national network and will be instigating the company’s vehicle enhancement and replacement programme for its leading edge fleet of 155 transporters.
Ansa Logistics is managed from offices in Brentwood in Essex and has depots in Dagenham, Southampton, Liverpool and Mossend. Managing Director Dudley Pound is delighted with the two new senior appointments. He said, “Both Nigel and Ken have a wealth of industry experience to add to our operations team. They will be using their expertise to help us fine tune our operational processes to ensure we remain ahead of the competition and that we are providing the highest levels of service excellence.”
