Health & Safety

Autologic is established at the forefront of car transporter related health and safety, with continued involvement from vehicle manufacturers and development of progressive safety features.

It recognises the importance of providing a safe and healthy working environment for employees, visitors, subcontractors and suppliers under its control or protection. The Health & Safety Manager is qualified with the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) and provides expert support and guidance in this area.

Concerted efforts have resulted in a 9% reduction in recorded accidents in the last year:

• The fifth consecutive year that accidents have decreased
• Representing a 40% reduction since 2002

This has been achieved by continual focus and co-operation at all organisational levels, with the management team undergoing health and safety training, ensuring regular consultation with employee representatives and participation in Health & Safety Committee meetings.

A series of ongoing audits illustrate a high level of control and compliance with Health & Safety legislation, with reports and action points from each individual depot being linked to continuous improvement initiatives.
